Whats New?

Well, its getting that time of year when the sun goes South and the days get colder, we have enjoyed a really mild winter so far, I am busy making glass beads, yep you heard right glass beads. Melted glass on mandrels with different colored glass and frit (small pieces of glass that reacts to a flame with no oxygen in it) that make some interesting designs. Our beads are free form as some of the more professional bead makers can put landscapes or make fish, or just about anything. Since we are new to this we haven't gotten our feet wet yet as far as making some of the above mentioned beads. So we just stick to free form. Believe it or not we have sold some. So I guess we are doing something right. Well Jan and I will try to make the reunion at the end of Dec, but it will depend on the weather. I don't drive in snow. I have 4 years of it in the military and vowed never to drive in it again. And I haven't. So hi to all and bye for now. Steve

Hi this is me on my wedding day. Don't I look happy? Well guess what I am still. More pictures of cats and me and of course Jan will be forthcoming soon. Also news of our new website soon to be uploaded. It will feature our beads that we are making in the basement and hopefully will sell on the internet and at trade shows.

Here are the cats. This was taken about two months ago. The are bigger than this now. I will have to take some more pictures, soon. 

New Blog

I wanted to start a blog at the beginning of the year, and here we are at the end of it instead. It took a bit of creativity and humor from my family to get me started. I see this as a place to let people know about me. It is also a place to let people know about what Steve is up to. I have not shown it to him yet. :-) A little surprise.
